Thrashing
When the robotics is having to move discs around the jukebox too frequently. Hardware life can be dramatically reduced if this occurs.

Track
The smallest recordable unit on a CD / DVD (corresponding to the original tracks of music on an audio CD). A track consists of a user-definable number of sectors. Up to 99 tracks can be recorded on a CD. CD / DVD Recorders have to record entire tracks at once, without interruption.

UDF (Universal Disc Format)
This specification describes the Universal Disc Format, a file system developed from the ECMA 167 standard for OSTA, the Optical Storage Technology Association. This specification, fully compliant with the ISO 13346 standard, is intended for developers who plan on implementing UDF to enable file interchangeability among different operating systems and is the 'standard' file system for DVD and Optical discs.

UDF-Bridge
A name for a disc containing both UDF and ISO9660 file systems. UDF-Bridge is the 'standard' file system for DVD-ROMs.
